I have an affinity for robots. In fact, keep a look out next week for a review what might be one of my favourite robots. And this short film, Wire Cutters, by Jack Anderson, got me right here. You can't see where I'm pointing to, but I promise you, it's no where dirty. Anderson has constructed two expressive, sympathetic artificial beings here that are a reminder of the dangers of anthropomorphizing things. Especially things with pincers. And a reminder that there is no I in team, but there might be one in "you bastard!"
Seriously though, this film is quite good. I hope to hell no studio buys it and tries to stretch it out to feature length.
